The Society was founded in 1951 and in 2011 celebrated its 60th anniversary with much enthusiasm. It is a warm and friendly group of people who are only too happy to share their knowledge and experience. It has well over 1,200 members worldwide who are linked by their quarterly publication, the OSGB Journal.
